Compare the annual invoice with twelve monthly payments, then show the amount due today. Dividing an annual invoice by twelve is useful for comparison, but does not turn it into a monthly payment. The calculator shows the annual commitment alongside the equivalent subscription cost so you can keep these two ideas separate.
Test fit before locking in the discount
Try your hardest workflow while commitment is still small. Check data exports, integrations, automation limits and how cancellation works. A tool that is inexpensive for an untested workflow can become expensive when you discover that another paid product must stay. Keep retained tools in your decision even when they are billed by a different supplier.
Work out your own commitment threshold
For an illustrative product priced at $40 monthly or $400 annually, the annual payment equals ten monthly payments. If you stop needing the product after six months, monthly billing would have cost $240. The longer commitment only helps if you keep using a suitable product long enough.
